Brandon Turner

Brandon recently graduated from Michigan State University where he majored in Computer Science.

Information reterival, compilers, and operating systems are Brandon's favorite areas of computing. He prefers to write most of his code in C# and MSSQL, but he is proficient in C#, VB.NET, PHP, C, C++, MySQL, and MSSQL.

In the past, Brandon has worked on many other projects. He used to be the Release Manager and developer for ReactOS. He was lead developer of Sharp Shell which since development has stopped after Brandon's migration to Windows Vista.

At one time, many moons ago he worked on a project he called DonkJS; which was a language simlair to PHP which is then converted to cross-browser Javascript with the intent of speeding client side scripting development. Initial work on this can be found at DonkJS.

Brandon also worked on a project with Eric Puidokas called GridFox used for overlaying a website with a grid to help web designers.

In his spare time now, he is working with Eric and Rob Meyer on DrinkerBee which is a website that allows user to add, search, and rate all forms of alcohol. Using the ratings and our magic algorithm we can recommend users drinks specialized to their liking.

In the start of 2008 Brandon began work at Microsoft on the Windows Live Writer team. (He's really pumped!)
